Research & Use Case
Boston Heart Diagnostics is partnering with Diet ID to conduct a research study and first-use case report. The study will evaluate the accuracy and user experience as compared to conventional diet assessment methods.
Using Diet ID’s photo navigation, study participants will identify their baseline eating pattern that resembles the way they typically eat. Patients will also complete a food frequency questionnaire. Blood that is already being drawn as part of standard medical care will be used to help measure nutritional biomarkers, and each participant will complete a brief user experience survey. The study is IRB-approved and will be conducted from July through September 2018 as BHD recruits 150 volunteers.
